Well, you know, that big ol’ knitting thing, the Addi Kingsize, yeah, that one. You can make all sorts of things with it, they say. Patterns, they call ’em. I seen folks makin’ stuff with it, looks kinda fancy, like what they sell in them stores.
Now, I hear tell you can use regular ol’ knittin’ patterns with this machine. But not all of ’em, mind you. Some’s too hard, too many twisty turns and such. The easy ones, them’s alright. But if you got somethin’ fancy, you best stick to them patterns made just for the machine, or ask someone who knows better.
And about the yarn, don’t go usin’ that thick, chunky stuff. You know, the kind they say you need big ol’ needles for. It don’t work right in that machine. Makes the knittin’ all tight and funny lookin’. Sure, you can force it in there, but it ain’t gonna look good, and you gotta go real slow, like molasses in winter.
